Xavier Coates Choose Kangaroos : Kumuls Stocked

The Xavier Coates decision to play for the Australian Kangaroos over PNG Kumuls which he made his international debut with  has set off a national debate in Rugby League mad PNG. 
It may seem like a massive blow to the Kumuls preparations for the Rugby League World Cup but for the first time in history the Kumuls outside backs stocks is deep and peaking.

It now gives a chance for live wire Fullback Terry Wapi and devastating runners Junior Rau, Jokadi Bire, Gerry Lo and Brendan Nima to come into the equation. This is the perfect time to let these raw talents loose to showcase their talents 
We have our mainstays like David Mead, Nene McDonald, Justin Olam, Edene Gebbie and Stargroth Amean who never let the jersey down. Not forgetting NRL try scoring ace Alex Johnston. 
In our opinion it’s time to restore pride back into the Kumuls jersey as we want to become a Tier 1 nation, we do not want players to choose us as a second option and keep referring to us as Tier 2. 
The road to make us a Tier 1 nation starts now by ensuring we are first choice for our players.
