I AM annoyed with a letter by “Frustrated Fan” regarding the Hunters away game losses to some of the ISC Cup teams that they have played.
I am not an expert commentator or a professional player but from what I have read, heard and watched about the PNG Hunters, none of the teams they play against are school boy footy teams. In fact, it is quite the opposite with most of the teams that the Hunters have come up against, made up of a mixture of both NRL experienced and seasoned ISC Cup players. I may even go out on a limb and say that the Hunters have proven their worth and more than showcased professionalism by maintaining a top five placing since their first game against the Redcliffe Dolphins. I am pretty sure that FF has had his fair share of schoolboys footy and so he would probably deem the ISC Cup players in a league of his own. We should be critical of our national teams and also be constructive and to say that winning at home is “not a big thing”, proves that FF has no sense of appreciation for a national footy side that is finally beating professional overseas teams on home soil. Meanwhile, I am tipping the Hunters to continue their upsetting debut and prove their frustrated fans wrong. Jonathan Farapo, Via email

fully support Jonathan Farapo..FF should check with Intrust super cup admin to see if the so called teams in the coompetition are school boys, which i firmly believe are not. Comments are closed.
