These include K500,000 for signing fee, K1.6 million in 2007 with 10 per cent increment each year,K1.8 million in 2018, K1.9 million in 2019 and K2.1 million in 2020. PNGRFL chief executive officer Reatau Rau said 2017 was a successful year and they look forward to keeping the momentum going. “The most successful year in 2017 for rugby league coming in as the new CEO in 2017, we sort of challenged coach Michael Marum to do the best to overcome the experience of the past three years and we did it. We won the Intrust Super Cup in our fourth season. “In 2018, we want to keep the momentum going, we have a exodus of players, some have gone overseas and some have retired and we have included 16 new players to the team,” Rau said.
