COACH Michael Marum has basically retained the team that gave the SP PNG Hunters one of their best performances so far this season, a 42-12 victory over Souths Logan Magpies in Kokopo last week. The only change to that side has been the return of Thompson Teteh to the centres, the position he vacated due to injury. Adex Wera who was also replaced due to injury makes a return but off the bench with Marum electing to stick with Albert Patak who had a solid game at fullback last week. Timothy Lomai, also making a comeback due to injury but was worked slowly into the side off the bench last game, moves into the starting side at prop, partnering Esau Siune. Should Lomai match the work-rate that Siune has been putting in during his absence, the Hunters go-forward potential would be given a significant boost and a great platform to unleash their potent backs. The rest of side is unchanged as the Hunters, enjoying their first real opportunity at uninterrupted preparation at home, as they host Redcliffe Dolphins on Saturday. This is due to the team’s relocation to Kokopo last week and which relieves them of the fatigue associated with the weekly grind of travel – a situation that the Hunters had to endure when they had been based at the Bomana Police College in Port Moresby for the last six months. The team, two to be omitted is: 1. Albert Patak 2. Garry Lo 3. Noel Zeming 4. Thompson Teteh 5. Edward Goma 6. Israel Eliab © 7. Roger Laka 8. Timothy Lomai 9. Wartovo Puara 10.
